About Devlin Stone

Devlin has been active in Pest Management Services since he was quite young, 14, when the company was started. Most of the years since then have been spent working full-time for the company. Devlin owned his own company in Plainview, Texas, but folded it into this one in 2003.

He has taken classes in Integrated Pest Management at Texas Tech and is now fully certified by the Texas SPCS or, Structural Pest Control Service, with separate certifications in the Texas Department of Agriculture.

He has served in all positions of the company and is now serving as the President/Owner.

About Dr. Jay D. Stone

Raised on a cotton farm in Turkey, Texas, Dr. Stone attended and graduated from West Texas State University (West Texas A&M University) in 1968. During his time at West Texas, he met and married Thelva Morgan in 1965 (they recently celebrated 48 years of marriage).

He obtained an M.S. (Master of Science) and Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 1973 in Entomology with a specialty in Integrated Pest Management.

After 3 years on the faculty of Kansas State University, Dr. Stone joined the faculty of Texas A&M University, where he stayed until 1986, when he and Thelva decided to leave the university and begin a Pest Control business in Lubbock in 1986. It was a natural move, since he had been a resource for, and trainer of, pest control professionals during his career with the universities.

Jay and Thelva still have routine involvement in its operation.
